Alex Volzer CMT, HHP - Bio
Alex is a Holistic Health Practitioner and Certified Massage Therapist (#22235)with over 1300 hours of training in various Massage modalities, as well as Nutrition, Herbology, Chinese Medicine, Body Psychology, and the integration of Massage Therapy in Western/Integrative Health settings from Mueller College in San Diego, CA. He got into massage therapy after struggling with PTSD for most of his life.
In massage therapy school he learned how to manage his stress and anxiety, change his diet, support his body and mind, and then help others do the same.
The people he most commonly works with have complex and/or chronic medical conditions, stubborn pain problems that no one else seems to be able to address, struggle with mental, psychological, or neurological challenges, and are committed to changing their lives for the better.
Alex believes every BODY deserves a safe, enjoyable massage experience, regardless of race, age, gender orientation, sexual orientation, medical condition, "disorder", diagnosis, history, or previous experience with touch or massage.
Alex is originally from rural upstate New York but has traveled and lived all over the world. When not working, he studies Traditional Chinese Medicine as an Acupuncture apprentice, and Public Health Policy Engineering and Business Management at Butte College.
